If you’re  looking for a fall hike, try the trails near Opal Creek in the Willamette National Forest east of Salem. Some trailheads require a federal recreation pass. See the websites  below for more information on  passes and directions to the trails. Oregon State Park day-use parking passes are not accepted at U.S. Forest Service recreational areas.
