Prineville Reservoir campground closed in October (2014)

Jasper Point campground at Prineville Reservoir State Park.

A paving project on all roads and parking pads will close the main campground at Prineville Reservoir State Park during October. The day-use area will stay open, along with Jasper Point campground on the reservoir’s northeast shore. Jasper Point has 27 first-come, first-served campsites with waterfront views and boat ramp access.

The main campground is scheduled to reopen Nov. 1. Jasper Point campground will close for the winter on Oct. 31.

The paving project will cost about $420,000.
